Not competing this fall has been an emotional roller coaster, for another post.
Sunday morning I was so disgusted with myself… 5 hour Thanksgiving 3 course meal (everything was delicious and I loved the conversation and company btw), followed by leftovers, and my parents’ cooking and eating out, not ever feeling hungry for 4 days straight.
This is our last week of the 30 day challenge and I’m SOO grateful for our nutritional system.
I was struggling to share my process the last 2 days because of a comment from one of my friends, that women just need a flat stomach and some other attributes to be attractive (I’m paraphrasing).
I didn’t want to shatter someone’s view of me, embarrassed at how I had succumbed to carbs like it’s crack.
This morning, coming off a 2 day deep cleanse has helped me feel more myself. As uncomfortable as it was sometimes to cleanse over the past 60 hrs, I would take it over the discomfort of the way my clothes felt on me earlier this week any day.
No, I don’t use nutritional cleansing as a crutch. Rather it’s a way to reset my palate & mindset, break the cycle of playing victim to carbs/treats. It’s my pattern interrupt.
This morning is back to a refueling day with my lemon sorbet birthday cake shake plus adaptogens. I might hit some quads today before 3 coaching sessions and the after school shuttling program. 😝
I believe people deserve a proven system to reset their bodies whenever they need it.
It does wonders for our self confidence.
No wonder it’s a lifestyle. ♥️🙌
