People who don’t know much about the Keto diet, think that when they start doing intermittent fasting, they'll be hungry and tired all the time. However, time after time, I find that if you get the right type and amount of calories, and get healthy foods that are nutritious, even in a 4-6 hour window, fasting will give you more energy, not less. You won't be hungry all the time. Some people get used to having only 1 meal per day and they are sincerely not hungry and tired all the time. They work, have jobs and businesses, and they work out regularly. So this is 100% doable. And even if you don't get the perfect keto schedule just right, every day, as long as you do it most of the time, it still works. You get results.
I’m actually doing a fast day today. So I’m not eating solid food. But I am drinking a lot of pure water with lemon, drinking chamomile tea, taking some CBD oil, drinking large amounts of electrolytes. I still take my supplement protocol (vitamins, minerals and herbs.) I also take some C60 MCT oil, here and there throughout the day, to stimulate detoxing and ketosis. I got energy, I plan to work hard today all day.
I did a fast day last Sunday too. And I had energy pretty much all day. It was a business as usual day for me.
Even if you don't change anything else about your life, but you do 1 fast day per week, it will help you to improve your overall energy, mood, health, etc. It will support your goals! It’s like a reboot for your entire body. You reboot your computer and phone regularly. Why don’t you reboot your body and mind?
Fasting allows your organs to take a break from digesting new food. When no new food is coming in, the organs have a chance to break down the toxins that accumulate in your organs, tissues and cells, during the course of your life. Without this periodic reboot, toxins don't have a chance to be released, and eventually the toxic overload creates symptoms of disease.
